It was named Company of the Year and one of the "Top 50 Shining Stars" by Hotelier magazine. The payroll team is made up of 3 professionals and the system used is ADP Workforce Now.
The head office is located in Montreal near Palais des congrès with metro station nearby.

Main responsibilities
As a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will play an essential role in the production of payroll and benefits management for all salaried and hourly employees, unionized and non-unionized, across Canada.
- Ensure that the bi-weekly payrolls for all employees are accurate and processed on-time.
- Audit and validation of all HR and payroll input data including new hire, changes and termination for both payroll and benefits.
- Detailed review and reconciliation of payroll data submitted by the field, ensuring timely resolution of errors prior to payroll transmission and/or processing.
- Ensuring timely and accurate payments for garnishments, union remittances, WCB and other government remittances as required.
- Year-End Tasks : T4/RL-1 Balancing and Provincial annual returns/filing.
- Produce ADP custom reports and analysis as required in order to support Finance and Operations.
- Manage and process new pension and benefit enrollments or changes within the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) and our group insurance provider.
- Reconcile payroll and benefits accounts and provide support to the finance team as required.
- Support on-boarding processes, including implementation of new entities and support off-boarding processes, including but not limited to the calculation of final payouts and production of ROE.
- Implement programming changes and updates within ADP Workforce Now as required.
- On-going optimization of current processes and development of tools for automation.
- Assistance with special projects and other tasks as required.
Profile required
- Minimum of two years’ experience processing the full payroll and benefits cycle in a high-volume environment
- PCP Certification from the National Payroll Institute (an asset)
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (an asset)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables)
- Solid understanding of Canadian payroll practices and standards
- Good knowledge of group insurance and pension concepts
- Excellent proficiency in both English and French (written/spoken)
- Possess strong initiative and desire to pursue opportunities as they are identified
- Demonstrated ability to working through challenges above and beyond a standard job description
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and objectively
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels from corporate colleagues to hotels and external partners
- Highly organized, able to manage time effectively and is comfortable working with tight deadlines
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with a growing and changing environment.
