New HR technologies : our findings
During our participation at the Salon Solutions RH presented by l'Ordre des CRHA last October, we had the chance to meet a number of HRIS suppliers, and we're delighted to share our discoveries with you.
Desjardins
After withdrawing from the HRIS market a few years ago, Desjardins is back with the development of a new human resources management platform. This new HRIS is currently being piloted with a targeted clientele, and the official launch is scheduled for 2025.
The platform will complement, not replace, Employeur D - Solutions Employeurs Desjardins, the payroll and HR management tool used by some 38,000 customers. It will enhance the service offering by providing additional tools related to HR management : compensation management, performance, onboarding, etc.
Cegid
Through its range of Cegid Pulse solutions, the company offers its customers a panoply of tools based on artificial intelligence.
In addition to increasing the efficiency of its customers' HR processes, these various tools enable them to optimize their data analysis and dashboarding - increasingly important aspects for customers wishing to appropriate HR technology solutions.
For example, Wittyfit is a Cloud-based solution that, among other things, improves the Onboarding management process by measuring employee engagement, or acts as an OHS prevention tool for certain psychosocial risks.
Folks HR
Folks HR is currently working with several partners to integrate AI across their platform as well as various HRM tools via APIs that will be developed over time. For example, they recently acquired Glow in the clouds (ATS recruitment) and are currently looking for an LMS partner to add to their platform.
By offering a wide range of HR management tools through their platform, and at relatively low implementation costs compared with the market, Folks is an additional option in the hyper-competitive HRIS market.
Lära
Lära is an LMS with a number of functionalities, such as the creation and publication of learning content, the management of training offers and enrollments, and everything to do with compliance management.
This compliance aspect is reflected in their customer portfolio, which includes educational organizations such as CEGEPs, school service centers, universities and professional orders. These types of clients are often characterized by complex organizational structures, and their training offerings are governed by regulations with which the organization must comply. Think of the number of training hours or credits a participant must complete within a reference period.
As an LMS platform, Lära can also interconnect with other existing work tools within the same ecosystem of software and digital solutions.
To conclude
It's crucial for HR professionals to keep abreast of the latest trends. Technologies are evolving at a rapid pace, and as they help optimize processes, foster employee engagement, attract talent and ensure effective HR management in a constantly changing work environment, it's best to know and understand the new tools at our fingertips.
