Our client is a Quebec-based union organization with some 600 employees, headquartered in Longueuil. The payroll team, which reports to Human Resources, is made up of three specialists. The payroll system used is RH Expert, and Algo is currently being implemented. This is a full in-office position.

Main responsibilities :

• Operate the complete payroll cycle for a dedicated group
• Ensure the quality and conformity of the data related to payroll's processing and transmission, the various group insurance plans and the pension plan
• Create and process payroll-related documents, compile data and produce various reports
• Update systems according to the needs of employers participating in HR programs
• Support employees in all payroll-related matters

Profile required :

• College education in administration, human resources, or other related training
• Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing
• Good knowledge of standard computer tools (Office Suite, particularly Excel)
• Ability to synthesize information and make recommendations based on analysis
• Knowledge of software such as RH Expert, Azur d'Algo, Nethris (an asset)
• Sense of priorities, thoroughness and attention to detail
• Autonomy, judgment and discretion
• Willingness to provide fast, efficient service to clients.
